Thaumatugy + stealth skills in Bloodlines means never having to say you're hungry. I rocked the final missions as a Tremere. Snuck around stealing vitae and dusting the guards at the same time.

Just started Myst V.....I've never played any of the Mysts....I LOVE it so far. This may be what I've been searching for all these years! (sniff)

Oh... and we also picked up a strange little game called "Gast" ....it is not a classic adventure structure, but I enjoyed it, and it seems to have some replay value as well (wiped out on the last ride, and I haven't gotten all the stars yet.) Fun, creative tale about a little ghost who is the caretaker of an amusement park. It's a bit Tim Burton, but I like it.

Think again, you've got a ways to go. That was a tough fight. I managed it in the first try but for sheer length I think it holds some kind of record.

ETA: I finally started Oblivion.

I seem the get nowhere in G.F for the moment. I'm in year two and I find the surroundings beautiful, the story absolutely lovely and the characters so funny.
But this is one hard game!

Ooooh yea year two was, in my opinion, the hardest part. Just one big puzzle pretty much, and a lot of running around.

It was also probably my favorite part because of all the Casablanca and noir!

just completely 100%'ified the super mario bros on ds. all in all a very easy game that wasn't as good as super mario world with yoshi and much better than the stupid racoon one everyone likes. 6/10.

Gabriel Knight 2, chapter 2. So far I'm pretty disappointed with it. I got some high expectations, but I'm gonna stick with it. At first I was pretty disappointed with the first game as well, but after hanging in there for a few "days" it suddenly got interesting.

Indeed hang in there, Chapter 3 and 5 are my favorite. The story and the game will pick up after chapter 2!

Finally cracked open Oblivion. Not sure how to judge how far 'in' I am but I've been playing for almost a week. Plenty of fun things to do so I haven't even gone near a gate yet. Also trying not to level up too fast. My postcards from the edge about it can be found here:

I have Thief and Thief 2 sitting on my shelf since god knows when, so I thought I'd give the first one a try. Sadly, I don't like it. I'm not that much into stealth gameplay, although I quite liked what little I played of Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid. Standing in one place for ages doing nothing but observing enemy movement patterns bores me to tears. Thief also allows for very little different actions (no fancy moves like in the previously mentioned series), the map is too vague, level design repetitive and the setting does almost nothing for me (at least in the first two levels). I know it was brilliant in its time, but I don't have patience for it, there are many more alluring games waiting to be played.

I just hit the third warp point in Egypt on Titan Quest, and I'm in chapter 5 or 6 of F.E.A.R. Both pretty good games, though F.E.A.R. is a little repetitive.
