Default Beyond Good And Evil price is slashed!

I just saw at the game store that BG&E is now 30 € for PS2 and 20€ for PC!
And its 15 pounds in the UK I think...(At least at amazon.co.uk)
Now nobody has an excuse NOT to buy it!
I know I will the next time I go to the game store!

How sad... does that mean it's not selling as it should be? But it's only been in stores for two or three weeks...

It might not mean that. When it was first released in the US it was only for $39.99 instead of the usual $49.99. The prices are roughly the same.

I didn't think of it that way....
Maybe they want it to be in the top 10 no matter what?
Or maybe us Europeans are cheapskates?

I think I want this game, but I didn't ask for it for christmas.
It'll probably be just as expensive as before up here, though.

um apart from that they arent releasing it on other formats until next march? why settle for a low res, jagged, long loading ps2 version when shiny GC and Xbox ones are just around the corner.. plus there is tons of other stuff out now, by march there probably wont be a lot out there.. its a very bad desicision on ubisoft's part to make their games PS2 exclusive over christmas.. a lot of the people who reguarly buy games have more than one console and want to play the best version of a game that they can.. hence a lot of multi-format titles selling better on the GC and/or Xbox (eg. Finding Nemo, Crash Bandecoot: Wrath Of Cortex, Soul Calibur 2, Colin McRae Rally 3 & 04, Hitman 2, Timesplitters 2, Broken Sword: TSD..)

Does it really look that bad in PS2? Can you get it for the PC?

I didn't find it under the tree, so I just ordered it for PC at play.com...

I got enough DVDs to last me for the whole next year, though....

It's a brilliant little gem. The game is practically oozing with artistic design and athmosphere. If you like Zelda, Rayman, Ico (Or other similar games) you will probably want to check outBG&E. It's not so dungeon-driven and isn't terribly hard but still great fun. I haven't finished it yet, But I'm probably well half-way into the game and I have to say that this is one of the year's best. The story and characters are also pretty good.
