Then def. get Seamen. It's a trip. Resident Evil: Code Veronica is wicked. This was this one game that took place in a funhouse but I forget the name of it.

Oh yeah, and Crazy Taxi.

Loads of people will tell you to play Shenmue, a game that bored me rigid before I actually got more than about ten minutes in. It's fun to go to ingame arcades and play Space Harrier, though .

Anyway...

If you enjoy party games grab Chu Chu Rocket!, which you can pick up for about 99p second hand (it was actually free at one point). Unless you own the GBA version, of course.

The Sonic Adventure games are worth grabbing if you don't have them for another console. I quite liked Jet Set Radio too.

Oh, and playing homebrew stuff like SCUMMVM games is a doddle if you can find CD .iso images. Well worth doing (though of course not for any nefarious purposes) as there are some quite nice freeware bits and bobs available.

I really ought to dig my console out when I get back home and actually use the damn thing .

In addition to everything already mentioned, if you're into Japanese RPG's, Skies of Arcadia is an awesome game.

Soul Calibur is the best of the four games that's been released in the series. Tony Hawk 1 and 2 is best on Dreamcast, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is great too. Skies of Arcadia is a must for any jap-rpg lover, as is Grandia 2. You might find more enjoyment in gameplay in the last one. Metropolis Street Racer is the prequel to the Project Gotham Racing, and in my opinion, a hell of a lot better.

Sonic Adventures should be pretty obvious, but personally I'm not a big fan of them. I prefer my Sonics to be 2D (or at least side-scrolling). Shenmue has already been said, but needs to be emphasized. It's a slow game most of the time, but if you take the time to get into the game and just soak up the environment it's a sure winner.

Last (but not least) is Headhunter. Very good stealth/action game, including motorbikes.

Also, if possible, get hold of Demolition Racer: No Exit. I love that one, based on and improved version of the PSX/PC version.

I think I've mentioned just about everything that's worth getting a DC for.

Well, it depends on what region of game your looking for. PAL wise, Gunbird 2, Jet Set Radio, Grandia 2, and Bangai-O are probably my most played.

But if your able to play JAP games too, you need to pick up Ikaruga (if your into your shooters) and Fire Pro Wrestling D (if your interested in playing the best wrestling title thus far).

I feel bad about scaring off the Shenmue sympathisers. So I should point out that a lot of people have enjoyed those games. I just wasn't one of them.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a go, though ...

I'm certainly one of those who thoroughly enjoyed Shenmue. It's one of those games you can just lose yourself in during a lazy Sunday afternoon, gambling away your money while you ponder over what you need to do next. Though, there's some rediculously repetative moments when you need to earn some quick cash in the second title!

Well, I must admit, it's not really the greatest of ports. The frame-rate can drop pretty low at times, and the graphics do seem to be lacking a bit of detail. Still well worth a buy though for those who havnt played the PC version. Can be picked up for a few pound on ebay.
