Hey 'Dan_Dan_91_07' Great selection. Loved Sherlock Holmes: Silver Earring.
And Dues Ex is just a awesome classic that you will love. I wonder what Nightlong is
about (will have to look it up). I am still wanting to play Discworld noir.
Does anyone know if Still Life series is any good.

Emilio de Paz, his creator, is a friend of mine and I had a moral obligation

I had played "Drascula" and "El Tesoro de la Isla Alcachofa" a few years ago, too.

Hey is this the same game as Murder in the Abbey (australia released name)
I really tried to play this but got bored rather quickly... not sure if that had to
do with it being lost in translation or maybe I was being impatient at the time.
But I do remember the graphics, sound, navigation where all good....
just the story couldn't get into. Anyway I still have it I might give it
another go in the future.

Oh God, I'm on fire!!

I was looking at the game downloads on Amazon, and saw a lot for sale, and bought two games that I've been really wanting for only $4.99; "The Witcher: Enhanced Director's Cut", and "Beyond Good and Evil". Besides that, I also bought a new graphics card and internal harddrive for my desktop.

I'm going crazy!!

EDIT: Damn, GOG sale...bought "King's Bounty: The Legend" for $4.99, and had to talk myself out of "Fantasy Wars" for the same price, since I've bought so many (4 in the past day, if you include my earlier post with "Aliens VS Predator".

I bought Spore, a game I've wanted for a long time now. Never liked the idea of the internet activation DRM but it was cheap enough to justify putting my moral objections aside.

I'm looking forward to creating a civilization of crazed monkey critters.

I need to be restrained, I swear. Too many sales this weekend; bought "The Guild: Gold Edition" and "Gothic 2" on GOG, and was considering "Spellforce" but talked myself out of it. "Cake Mania" was free today on Amazon, and I bought the "Mount and Blade" for sale on Steam...I have a problem.

EDIT: Burger Shop free on Amazon today, and a wonderfully generous person in the GOG community gifted me two games; Last Express and Planescape: Torment. <3 And I won Disciples: Sacred Lands.

I bought "Pathologic" today. I watched a few gameplay videos on Youtube before I purchased, and it looks....fascinating. I fired it up to make sure it runs. And it does. So I played a few minutes. Love the atmosphere, but I really have no idea how to classify this game yet. Strange stuff.

That looks expensive.

I just pre-ordered The Witcher 2 on gog.com. First game I've pre-ordered or bought when it's new in a VERY long time. Figured it's worth the money, since the first game was oooo yeah. Got a free copy of Divine Divinity along with it too. Good stuff.

Yes and no.

On the one hand: I've only pre-ordered them and I won't be charged until they've actually been dispatched. Thankfully, because they won't all be released around the same time, they won't all be dispatched at the same time. So at least I can focus on paying one at a time.

But on the other hand... yes, overall, they're gonna cost loads.

I forgot to add this to the pre-order list:

I've had people gifting me games left and right, but I actually *bought* "American McGee's Alice" for about $30. I wanted to try it out, even though that is a bit expensive for me.

Apparently, the sequel - Madness Returns - will contain a one-time-use code to unlock the original Alice for free! I think the offer applies to 360, PS3 and PC.

Found this for as little as 99p in GameStation! Bargain!! On eBay it seems to be going for £15-18 used!

I've read the PC version is buggy, but at 99p, who cares!?

Gazzoid you will not be disappointed. I bought it years ago... and yes while it is
a little buggy the game has awesome atmosphere. Also gets pretty freaky at points.
Starts off a little slow but it will soon have you on the edge of your seat.
Nice purchase!

I'm only on chapter... 2 (I think?) and so far I'm liking it! You're right about the atmosphere; and it's creepy. The story seems interesting at this point, but is no doubt only the tip of the iceberg. And you're also right about the start being slow - I still haven't gotten a weapon yet. The first bit reminds me of Amnesia with all the survival horror and running away.

Speaking of 'running away', I am (or 'was') disappointed there isn't a 'Sprint' option/key. I found the gauntlet section,
Spoiler:
where you're running away from the murderous fishermen,
a bit frustrating - it took me more attempts than it should have done!

In regards to glitches, the only one I've encountered is a crash whenever I task switch. That's it so far.

But yeah, a nice purchase indeed.
