I bought about 4 PC games where I work for about £3.70. I may bundle them up and sell them on eBay and get a bit more. They are incomplete however as they're only in jewel cases.

I got:

- Limited Edition of the first Tomb Raider game
- Half-Life (Game of the Year Edition)
- The Ultimate DOOM - Thy Fleshed Consumed.
- The Settlers II
- Blackstone Chronicles - this one I'll play first (unless I don't like it)

Am I the only one buying games now?

I ordered the original big boxed version of The Ultimate DOOM - Thy Flesh Consumed and DOOM II: Hell on Earth.

Nah, I've been buying more, too. Just bought "Zoo Tycoon" at my local department store, Target, for $10. It actually had a lot of adventure choices, and I was there for at least an hour holding up my parents.

And I just got a free year of Amazon prime for being a student, so I can get free shipping on any games sold by Amazon!

Too much of a backlog to think about buying anything new at the moment.

I'm bidding on Sims:Freetime on Ebay for a cheap price. Any advice on how to win one? Last time I tried to bid obn something, I lost it within the last minute.

Don't bid until just before the end (otherwise you present a target for people outbidding you).

If somebody else has already place a bid and you want to bid, say, £6, bid £6.01. That way if they'd put in a maximum of £6 you'll still become the highest bidder.

I try that kind of tactic myself within 10 remaining seconds. I usually bump the bid up by a couple of quid. Unfortunately, someone always outbids me around the time I place my bid and they've bidded about a fiver more. Gits.

Just re-bought Gabriel Knight 1: Sins of the Fathers from GOG after my cd version stopped working. Gog version plays fine.

I'm going to London in two weeks. Know any good retail stores where I might pick up some AG's?

I bought Discworld 2 - CDs and jewel case only - and Discworld Noir - Infogrames DVD case - from where I work for a total of £2-3. Discworld 2 only cost me 99p - a bloody bargain considering how much the game goes for on eBay.

I'll be bundling them up and selling them for about a tenner on eBay. Heh, heh, heh.

It's worth checking out GAME and Gamestation, but their PC section is dwindling, shockingly. I saw a fair few adventure titles in there, like the Broken Sword trilogy boxset (which I got), Art Of Murder: FBI Confidential, Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge. I say check there. Also CEX may do some, but they tend to go towards second hand titles than brand new titles. But in saying that, in any of these shops you never know what you'll find. I managed to find a copy of Full Throttle in pristine condition in Gamestation for 99p, so it's always worth a look.

Thanks! I'll look up the addresses, see if I can squeeze them into our sightseeing planning
