Ah, Under A Killing Moon. What an awesome game.

Hence the attraction, I have yet to be given the slightest impression that I should dislike it for any significant reason.

Ahem, I just bought the new slim PS2 :)
http://www.sitecity.dk/img/PS2_Slim.jpg Cost $204 - EURO 134 And to start with, I got: Disney Donald Quack Quack Attack Agent Hugo Boog & Elliot The Da Vinci Code I know they may not sound that exciting to some, but since it will be my first time playing ANY PS games, they are OK in my book, lol. |

I've yet to play Okami (I've got a copy, but I've realised I can sell it more new for what I got it for), still not found the time for Fatal Frame 2/ Project Zero 2, Final Fantasy XII (although I've listed to the soundtrack far too many times), Virtua Fighter Evolution (just got a mint copy of the first for £4), and the cult fav Global Defence Force. I've currently bought these: Jet Set Radio Future Gun Valkarye Monkey Ball Deluxe Panzer Dragoon Orta Headhunter Redemption All for the Xbox. Now all I need to get is a cheap, second hand Xbox... |
I've just bought Lost: Via Domus on Xbox 360. (I bought this on impulse after finishing the completely awesome Mass Effect and wanting to play something else on the 360. I'm a Lost fan too.)

Another friend gave me this for free: http://i26.tinypic.com/vpuqo4.gif He doesn't like RPGs so he wanted me to have it. Very nice of him, innit? :) |
Simon the sorcerer 1 and 2, Piece of Wonder, Ever17, Animamundi, Divine Divinity, Eschalon... hmmm... should be about it?

Is Lost a third person action/adventure game, or is it a point-and-click game with pre-rendered screens and static camera angles? I'd considered buying it but only if I can explore the island in real-time.
|
It's a 3rd person action/adventure.
So far I've wandered through the crash site and the jungle avoiding the smoke monster. Solved a couple of puzzles and talked to some of the stars from the show. (Although non of them are done by the show's stars and some of them are dreadful Lockes in particular) So far it has been very easy not much action, the locations are beautifully recreated, the character models are ropey and the voice action adequate, but disappointing. The flash back sequences are pretty cool. It's not bad if you are a fan of the show for novelty factor alone. |
|
3 more titles:
Phantom of Inferno, Hourglass of Summer and Yo jin bo. |
Bought recently: Secrets of Da Vinci (hasn't arrived yet), Gooka (haven't played yet).
|
Bought The Awakened; it was sold for only 10 Euros - just couldn't resist that :)

There, this should keep me entertained during the coming easter 2400 km road trip... :)
Dunno if I was ripped off or not, but all this cost me SEK 2775 (~€266). All in all I think it was a pretty good deal. |
Not bad :) How's Patapon? It looks quite interesting but unsure whether it's worth the purchase
