And that's the event that will cause the end of this world. Congratulations, you ruined it for the old Mayas, and they were so close! I hope you're proud of yourself.

Bought NeverWinter Nights 2 a few weeks ago and I thought I had researched it carefully but bleagh, it is a isometric view game so it goes to the game trader asap, I HATE isometric view, I am a nut for straight on full view POV and cant stand the mental and visual skewing of 3/4 ariel view games. Does anyone know if Fable or Gothic are full view games similar to TES Oblivion, MW< etc? I want to try to study some more of the RPG games but just don't have the will to master isometric now or ever. thanks and a heads up to anyone else like me

No problem, always glad to help! I only knew that because I also found the angles annoying. Oh, and if your mouse has a scroll-wheel, you can use it to zoom in and out.

Yes i did find the zoomy way that works, which is quite nice, i was getting seasick tho from the angle and the birds eye view...thanks again. I am researching this now on the NWN2 forums, as there seems to be a lot of interest in adjusting the camera in that game and there appear to be some mods for this. There is a lot to this game that allows moding and that interests me, as that was one of the most interesting aspects of my research on the TES games, so thanks again for giving me another chance on this one, I was a bit flumoxed to find that sky view thanks

Since I see from the What Games re you playing thread you know Oblivion TES, is it possible to get a POV similar to that in OB in NWN2? I have found a mod that gives a POV level with the ground but was not sure about how to set a default view that is going to remain stable and not need me riding the middle mouse button....i will have time tonight to research more I hope, but wondered how similar you were able to get your POV in NWN2 to OB...?? thanks i did see that the 1.04 patch to NWN2 allows a key binding for Mouse Look which will help a lot!

Not exactly...btw, do you have all the patches? I think one of them fixed some camera control issues. That might help, too. Personally, I always scroll down so that I'm in first-person, and use the "driving cam" mode.

yup patched up to 1.05. and yes several of the patches, 1.03 and 1.04 address camera issues and provide for some options due to quite a bit of concern over the controls for this game. Cool, i thought Driving Mode would be the way to go, thanks a lot. much appreciated indeed!

I just bought Grim Fandango... for some odd reason, the local media store across from work had about 10 copies of it on the shelf at about $15 each.
I'm tempted to buy up the lot of them and hock them on EBay.

The has not been an official statement as to why the name of the game has been changed but there are several possible explanations. Three of which I will name here: 1- "Bit" is a slang term for penis in french so it could look like "et le bits" meaning "and the penis". 2- It could be because there is a Spanish cartoon called 'Elebits'. Meaning it comes down to Copyright reasons. As Europe is lumped into one (even though Spain barely has a videogame industry), we all got stuck with Eledees. 3- Joystiq's possible explanation: "Bit: Noun. A woman. Abb. of 'bit of fluff' or 'bit of skirt', generally a person viewed sexually. Derog. Well, thank goodness they caught that one. Countless many people would have been left disappointed after learning that Elebits doesn't involve you lifting up skirts with a gravity beam." (Source: user replies on the Gamespot site)
