Don't worry, there simply is no manual for HL2. They never made one.

I wonder if I ever have the hundreds of hours time that I need to play it. :D

That's why I won't be getting it, anytime soon at least. I'd want to, though, but I'm afraid it would be a bit of a waste of money, at least for a long time. I have games probably dating from over two years that I still haven't played :D

I don't like long games :P I don't like short games for that matter either (well, I like, I just don't... like...) Medium-length games. That's the way to go :)

MEe too, extremely Addictive. I could beat anyone at that game, I finished it so many time son hard, and the best robot is the Jaguar & The Katana (sp?). Love that game, pitty OMF BG is crappier. Someone should remake OMF 1 pre-rendered 3D and keep the 2D based gameplay. Or just make a decent sequel/remake.

Not much more subtle, I'm afraid.

Awesome, awesome game. Notice how the American cover has Kratos's swords stained with blood :P

Dasilva 02-05-2006 10:27 AM

I think the other cover looks better. :)

I forgot to say that Space Rangers cost me only £9.99. :)
So at least it wasn't that much money even if I *never play the game*. :D

Thanks - I might install it today just to see if it does work. I have an old laptop with Windows ME and I can get a lot of older games to work on it. :)

Just brought...

http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...2.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

And its Ace :D

especially the children's book-esque manual

Though i've found that everyone who see me playing the game immediately says: "what the F**k"

Karmillo 02-05-2006 01:51 PM

thats out over here now? how much was it?

GED X-42 02-05-2006 01:58 PM

I came out in the UK on friday, it was about £35 in Virgin megastore but went up to £40 in some other shops.

Dasilva 02-05-2006 02:00 PM

Play.com offers £29.99 + Free Delivery

Karmillo 02-05-2006 02:07 PM

Full price huh? I always though it was one of thosequirky on and off fun games, is it worth the price?

GED X-42 02-05-2006 02:14 PM

Its great fun, though may be too weird for some people.

I haven't played it that much, so i don't know whether it was worth full price.

But its definately one of those games that you say you'll have a quick go on for half an hour before a TV programme is on. And end up playing it for ages missing the TV programme all together.

I just bought a large order of games. See, I very rarely get the chance to buy any games at all (since prices are obscene here), so when I do get an opportunity I make the most of it. I bought:

-Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, so far fun but not quite as good as its predecessor
-Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, which is just brilliant
-Metroid 2: Return of Samus for the Game Boy, a true classic
-LEGO Star Wars, which I'm hoping will be fun in multiplayer
and then used copies which I can't get to work of:
-Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
-Luigi's Mansion
-Super Monkey Ball

squarejawhero 02-06-2006 03:37 AM

Metroid Pinball.

Freakin' addictive as hell!

Kolzig 02-06-2006 05:22 AM

I bought three gamecube games even though I don't have a Gamecube. All of them were on sale.

Well, let's call it "preparing for the Revolution™". :D

Lucien21 02-06-2006 05:26 AM

The last non adventure games I bought came with my 360

Call of Duty 2
Kameo
PGR 3
Perfect Dark Zero

Karmillo 02-06-2006 05:26 AM

I thought the revolutions backwards compatability was going to be through downloads?
