No idea on the specific date myself, as it's all over the place. GameSpy and IGN say Sept 12. GameSpot says November, and Amazon.com says Oct 3. RPGamer.com says Sept 6.

However, the Square-Enix site says September when you highlight the icon. GameSpy and IGN might possibly be right.

Sadly both were just the CDs in jewel cases, and both were second hand, but they were only £3 each.

No. I actually hate buying second hand games unless I have to, for a couple of reasons.

Why? I love buying them second hand. You save money.

It's a rather complex answer that I can't go into. Let's just say that I'm very fussy about the state that my stuff is in.
