I got the BioShock-cover GameInformer in the mail today. Looks incredibly interesting and ambitious. I can type out the article on here if anyone's interested, unless it can be found online somewhere.

Whew, just scanned in all the pages from the GameInformer article. It's not a perfect scan, but all the text and pictures are visible, except for some around the edges. I thought it was slightly humorous that they had the page numbers wrong. For instance, it says "Continued on Page 97" when it actually means page 47 Anyways, enjoy.

Just got my final subscription issue from GameInformer featuring this game. The preview seems to discuss the game's core concepts more than anything. Looks like many decisions you make have ethical baggage attached. I like how the RPG system sounds, less looking at stupid numbers and more of a subtler approach. The game looks to have a more oppressive, claustrophobic world (just the SS2) as well, and the dystopic retro-futuristic look is kinda cool.

Any UK users around?
The latest edition of Xbox360 Gamer magazine has an article on Bioshock. Most of the text is similar to the Gamesinformer article, but with more detail. there are also some new screenshots showing Rature's (the underwater city in the game) Hydroponic gardens. Which look very pretty, but knowing Irational Games will turn out to be really creepy.

Yea, it was a very interesting article in the GameInformer. I would suggest those of you who didn't get a chance to see my now-removed scans find someone with the mag and read the article. The game looks excellent at this point (which doesn't mean much, of course).

And here's the first officially-sanctioned online shot, for anyone who still hasn't seen some scans (note that this is not going to start a trend of me posting every Bioshock image ever )...
Oh, and the original version was 1600x900, but I shrunk it so that I could use two separate images to remove the watermarks. I couldn't be bothered to go searching for a watermark free version. |

Heh, it's not the most striking thing in the picture, but the creases in the dead guys jeans hit me straight away...just a small detail that adds so much.
Looks good in a dark, horrific, maniacal, sadistic way. Though I really think that guy needs to go for a swim, rather than on a mass killing rampage!

Bioshock is the game I've been waiting for. It will hopefully be release next year. That gives me enough time to replay System Shock 1 and 2 and also Deus Ex.
Anyone in the UK pick up June PC Zone? Theres supposedly a 6 page article on Bioshock. Scans would be lovely |
