BS3 has left all UK charts

Sammy, the company who were snubbed in a merger with Sega last year is about to buy 22.4% of Sega in what will probably be a buy out later down the line. The purchase of stock (from CSK) makes Sammy their biggest shareholder.. Sammy have been expanding their videogames division for a number of years, opening US and European offices and launching long term series like Galerians and Guilty Gear..

Mobuis Entertainment has acquired Spellbound Interactive, both based in Yorkshire (UK) hope this will give them the power to start up development for Sony's PSP.

Mobuis have been going since 1997 making mostly handheld games like Drome Racer, Pop Idol and Bionicle.. along with a conversion of Alfred's Adventure (old amiga platformer) for GBC and PSOne and the now canned PC/PS2 Titanium Angels. Spellbound started in 1999 making Codemasters gameboy advance conversions like colin mcrae rally 2.0 & TOCA world touring cars..

The budget chart is even more amusing. Top is "Learn to Drive 2004" or something, with "Lemmings" following close behind. Oh man! Modern PC games lose their potency rather rapidly, it seems.
