I really need to buy this game, good thing that I won a sum of money in a certain online betting firm, so now I might have the money to get Mario Kart DS.

I'm gonna put you on my friend list as soon as I get the game.

I want to race with AG people.

Yeah!

I also use some others, but Paf has been pretty generous lately.

I got it a couple weeks ago. It's incredible. This is a golden opportunity to relive Mario Kart 64, and I encourage everyone with a DS to pick it up.

Nah, I won a pick the score thing twice in the Finnish hockey SM-league.
I've never really used the casino pages in Paf.

Oh and hey, I ordered Mario Kart DS yesterday, should be hopefully arriving soon.

I just got a DS last weekend. Gosh, Mario Kart is dangerously addictive!

I've lost my online races so far, against people who clearly have too much time on their hands. Also, there seems to be an annoying trend for the losing player to drop out, which seems most unsporting.

Karmillo: you can set it up to use your wireless network if you have one of those anyway, but otherwise I think the wi-fi USB thingy would be the way to go.

I'd like to add that I've figured out WHY Nintendo doesn't want us to give our friend codes away to everyone...

It won't really matter for now, since you can only play Mario Kart and all you can do is race but when Animal Crossing is out...

Only "friends" can visit your city in AC, and if you gave to everybody and their cat, then you just might get some unwanted visitors who CAN "trash" your town, you can ban them, but it will be to late...

So is your friend code the same for every game? That seems slightly... strange.

Hmm, since it's not out in Europe I'm not sure...

But obviously, you shouldn't give away your AC:WW friend code to everyone, and even the Nintendo US forums says it's forbidden to even post your codes...

But so do the EU Nintendo forums (closed for now)...

Either they are saying this because they are trying to warn people before AC:WW is out, or...

Maybe Nintendo's Wi-fi system can't handle well people with too many friend codes?

I've tried to have some friends matches, but I haven't been succesful yet...

I've got some Shackers on my list and also Tanukitsune, come AG people, let's race.

Worldwide and Regional suits me fine too, I've got many races already with some great japanese and french racers.

Dang, I just realized something!

You do need at least four friends for a match, right?

Hmm, how log do you have to wait for the game to detect a friend anyway?

I have no idea, but I think that you need only one friend to start the friends match, just like in regional and worldwide.

One thing that I hate about the online gaming with Mario Kart is when you are beating up people in the races and have won couple of races out of the total four, those bastards suddenly go offline because they are losing the match, all my wins don't go to the records because the race was aborted...

That must've happened at least five times in a row last night when I played MKDS.

That's what the friends list is for, I suppose!

AC:WW sounds so cool. I want a DS just for the multiplayer stuff. Letting random people come over to my town (and me being able to go to theirs) would be ACE. I don't know anyone else with Animal Crossing on the GC, so I've never been able to try it there.
