Default The legendary Bill Gates DooM video

David Kushner's great book about DooM called Masters of DooM tells us about a certain day in 1995 when Windows 95 was turning into a gaming platform with the help of a certain thing called DirectX. The day was October 30th and the event was called Microsoft Judgement Day. Microsoft had invited the biggest game firms of the industry to have their own booths there and arrange a big show to demonstrate the power of Win95+DirectX.

Alex St. John collaborated with iD and they created a legendary video where the DooM marine runs and shoots the enemies, we can see that the marine is infact Bill Gates himself. Soon afterwards the marine stops and Bill Gates marches in with a shotgun and wearing a trenchcoat. He starts to talk about how real the games are these days and how Windows 95 will be The gaming platform. He continues to talk and even kills a zombieguy with his shotgun and says "Don't interrupt me when I'm talking."

Everyone should see this, Gates really gets it going.

I think this thread belongs in general gaming, but if the mods want, they can move this to chit chat.
