This thread is like Pong.

If Eidos do get more business out of Legend, it's because they produced a good game. Not 'cos you recommended it.

I'm still smarting from the Advent Rising Incident of 2006.

Eidos is the publisher, Crystal Dynamics is the developer.

Exactly. Producing the game for Crystal Dynamics, as in the funding.

I think he is consulting the team or something like that and isn't really in the development team.

If I was allowed to edit my first post, I'd add a warning.

Some of those rock faces look really unsightly; the texturing appears to be off.

Third shot from the bottom of your list. Note the really bad texturing:

I think I'm entitled to nitpick if they're going to release screenshots in an attempt to impress me .

I think that's just bad pixelshading, but it could be because of the textures themselves, I've seen that type of thing in loads of games though.

I know it happens all the time. And I know I'm being petty. But I think I have a right to complain about poor texture-mapping as part of "next gen" visuals .

You can use Imageshack which will put them in thumbnail format (less intense for dial up users).

Thanks! Great new footage, and I don't just mean the game She seems like a convincing Lara Croft, and ofcourse the fact she actually played the original says a lot. But is she like doing the voice acting in the game, or is she just "Miss Lara Croft 2006" or something?

Shes just the model for the game, the voice of Lara is Keeley Hawes best known for her role of three years as Zoë Reynolds in BBC's flagship drama Spooks and recently seen in Michael Winterbottom's feature Cock and Bull Story.
