...and gives it a decent, but a bit disappointing, score of 7.3/"Good"

Default but...

I've gathered up a few more reviews of A&D and stuck them in this "review roundup" (so wacky) on Mojo:

I read that review and thought it was interesting that the strength of this 'shooter' was in the story. I downloaded and watched the intro and thought it was really funny - it made me want the game even though I'm not very good at shooters. I'm going to wait, however, for the price to come down a bit.

I disagree with that score. Story aside, it's a very fun and and entertaining game, story included, it's an extremly fun and entertaining game. My favourite game this year without a doubt. I can't wait to see what Planet Moon Studios will be up to next.

After Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Planet Moon became one of my favorite developers. They have a flair for expansive 3D worlds, stylized visuals, and humor. I might pick up Armed and Dangerous one day, if only for the storyline

Yeah, I completely agree. I haven't played Broken Sword 3 or Deus Ex 2 yet, but it'll take a lot for any of them to beat A&D. Also read my full review of doom here.
