Default PS3 costs scaring away developers

developing software for the PS3 from scratch requires an initial investment of at least 2 billion yen (US $17.6 million) and that’s before they start.

You know, it seems like Sony is making similar mistakes to the ones Nintendo made in its heyday.

I should've posted the BBC feature from last week on this news, but I can't find it. Also the PS3 architecture is proving really f*cking hard to program for.
