Uh oh.

Pan Vision who distributes the game in Norway has the date set as 30.03.06. I'm currently praying that this is a mistake, since the online retailers still have the date as 25.11.05.

You are correct. I just saw that they changed the release date to the 25th of November at the store I was planning on buying it. So they are just slow at updating their release info.

I e-mailed Pan Vision, who is distributing the game in Norway, as well as in Denmark, Sweden and perhaps Finland (I think).

He confirmed the 25th of November date, but since that, more and more online stores in Scandinavia has set the date to the 15th of February next year. This is probably the single most frustrating release ever!

Does anyone know which date is correct? Sorry for bringing this up again, BTW.

It looks like it will come out on the 25th. Most stores I've checked have that date.

starting to see advertisements for it in game magazines, havent seen any uk reviews for it yet but the ones listed on the ad were good reviews, mostly 9/10

Play.com has pushed the date for the PS2 version back to 06/01/05. Basically a month after the release dates for the PC and Xbox version, which sounds ridiculous to me since the game must have been ready to go for a few months now.

No Psychonauts for me then until next year then...

I just hope they actually release the goddamn game sometime.

Yes, now apparently the date is set to 05/12/02 for PC and X-box while the PS2-version doesn't come out until 06/01/05. I'm getting it for PC but it's still really frustrating that you soon have had to wait 7 months for a game to be released.

THQ's website is still saying 25th November.

I looked on GamesPress, but they have it listed as being released on 14th October past.

I'm increasingly glad I imported this, even if it does mean that I don't get a DVD copy...

I'm not sure if it's worth refreshing this thread anymore, but Play.com now has the date set to 07/01/06 for the PC and XBOX version.

I think we can safely say that we haven't seen the last of these delays yet.

Now there is one store here who claims to have the game (but not the Xbox-version) while the others have the releasedate set to the 16th of december. I'm not ordering the game now (it's christmas) but some of my friends probably will (it's at the top of my wishlist).

Hmm... Play now has the date for all platforms set as 04/02/06. The only online retailer in Norway that actually has the game listed, has the PS2 release date set as 03/02/05 while the PC and XBOX versions are scheduled for next week.

It's on the top of my wishlist, too. But I doubt anyone in my family will be able to get a hold of it. It's certainly impossible to figure out when it's released.
