Default DS gets a buttload of games

So, yeah. Like the DS didn't have a handful of worthy games already, it's getting some fifty more (roughly... not )

Here's some of the more interesting ones:

ASH, from Mistwalker. It's supposedly a Simulation RPG with, and I quote, "New Real Graphics!" That, actually, looks pretty good.

Then there's a new Wario Land game, complete with spiffier graphics thanks to the DS' capabilities. The old ones were platforming greatness, so let's hope this one delivers.

Mario's doing too many sports games? Whatever. I say, bring it on. Apparently it's also Online-enabled.

Then there's this small picture of a new Final Fantasy game (Final Fantasy III or Crystal Chronicles, no one knows, yet)

Also, check out Children of Mana, Dynasty Warriors (damn, that's a fine looking strategy title) and this good-looking RPG called Magical Vacation.

Owning a DS got just a bit sweeter.

The titles just get better. I wish I had more money to get some more games for it.

I recently sold on Another Code, as there's no point keeping it once its finished... I need a new one! That Mistwalker looks superb... and another Mana is great news.

That's it, if it gets a new Shining Force game (and only one made by Camelot will do), I'm getting one.

I doubt that Dynasty Warriors is going to be a strategy title. It should be the same game that is ported over from GBA, an action game based on the Romance of Three Kingdom.

Anyway, none of the titles is getting me excited. Think the only thing that'll get me excited now, is either Nintencats or another adventure game on DS.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike is simply incredible. If you're a strategy fan, get it.

There's like over 10 games that I find VERY interesting in those bigjko's Nintendo links.

Here's a couple of exciting DS news.

Mario Kart DS update
http://ds.ign.com/articles/657/657923p1.html

Children of Mana update
http://ds.ign.com/articles/657/657953p1.html

ASH - Archaic Sealed Heat
http://ds.ign.com/articles/657/657918p1.html

And the first pics of King Kong DS:

http://www.revo-europe.com/news.php?nid=8347

The pics don't really look that exciting, but I'd still like to see this game in action, and also I'd like to know what the second screen will be used for and how.

And also those pics have been enlarged a bit too much, I bet the game will look a lot better on the actual DS screens.

They're releasing Magical Vacation for DS? Eeeexcellent . It's a GBA game that was released in Japan years ago to great reviews and never made it here.

For those of you looking for something "different" on the DS and don't mind importing from Japan, check out Ouendan. It's a music-rhythm game that's madly addictive and easily one of the best games I've played on the DS platform. It's available on any of the major import website shops (NCSX, Play-Asia, etc).

Hey, welcome to AG'ers.

Yeah, that game looks great... but I'm playing through Dai Gassou! at the moment and that's enough rythym action for me!

I haven't gotten a chance to play Daigassou yet, but everyone I know that's played both preferred Ouendan's gameplay.

You can view a demo of one of Ouendan's levels here, just press the red button when the flash finishes loading. This is the Matsuri race level (one of the early levels) on hard difficulty. It's even more fun on very hard.
