Shadow of the Colossus

I believe it's finally being released next week.

I've just played the demo for it, and I was left in awe. As good as screenshots and movies are, they're nothing compared to playing the actual game. There's really no way to describe how amazing it feels to actually climb your way to the top of these massive monsters and look down to see your horse circling the ground below, and birds flying around.

This is going to be a damn good game.

The Japanese version(or one possible edition) comes with a making of disc that shows what it looked like when it was still called NIco. Too bad we don't get that in the US, but I'm sure movies will pop up somewhere.

I was really looking forward to this game, but when I played the demo, I was a little bummed. This game is no ICO, and scaling the colossus to me felt like a real tedious task. The frustration of it left me wanting to buy the game less. It's a shame, I don't think this game is as accessible to everyone as ICO was. It still looks gorgeous though.
