Default Man who catch flies with chopsticks can accomplish anything...

http://www2.abc.net.au/fly/flysui/flysui.html

Most likely you'll either waste hours trying to (thus not accomplishing anything), or get seriously frustrated and go do something constructive (accomplishing something)

I caught one fly. That's good enough for me.

One is good enough for me too. I won't waste, err spend, err invest, my time in this

..... Except when I'm bored

Nine? *clap-clap* wow...

Man, I've seen this before--couldn't catch a single damned fly! I was screaming in frustration. I mean, actually yelling out loud.

I got 199 on an earlier game.

I find it addictive, I like the music and the voice samples.

That's insane, but I know it's more then possible. I just kind of freaked out (not really, but you know) when I got up to nine, which screwed up the pace I had going. If you just keep on a roll the game can last forever because you keep getting more and more time.

Impossible.

That, or I haven't figured out the strategy yet. Oh well, another game fallen to the wayside of laziness.

Not quite forever the game reduces the 'value' of flies as time progresses, down to 1, so eventually you can't keep the timer stacked because generally it takes longer than 1 second to snap a fly. The trick is to get as many as you can early on while they're worth more than the time it takes to snap them, then live off your 'bank' till you run out of time.

Years of adventure games have left my hand-eye coordination woefully atrophied.

Yeah. Maybe if I had to build a trap using a net and a pulley with a point and click interface to catch the flies I could do it.

It was my first time playing and I got 308 before getting bored. BTW Crunchy, did you know you can actually rehit falling flies? It's hard and I've only done it once or twice but it's possible.

For those of you not getting in the upper double or triple digits, what are your system specs? It's often the case with flash games that lower end systems do better because the game actually runs slower. I have a high end system by the way, so that must be why I suck at this game.

Yeah, my PC is pretty slow [333mhz] so that probably explains it.

I played this several weeks ago... At first I thought it was some sort of joke and it was actually impossible to catch any flies, but after plenty of frustration, I managed to get one.

Exactly. That must be it. My amazingly superfast monstro-system is running the Flash animation so silky smooth, that it makes the game near-impossible to play. That must be it, right? RIGHT?!

Hehe, I first played this linked off of another forum, and the best I did was 7 flies.

And Phil25: That's pretty amazing - slow computer or not

This game is damn hard when it runs at optimum speed (I'm on a 1.2 Ghz processor), I managed 8 flies at best.

Speed makes a huge difference. For a clear example of this, try the Ninja game.
