This forum has the smallest avatars i've seen. I mean, 80X80? Pffft. You guys are looking like chumps!

The Playmoboard has 60x60!

Don't worry, man, I'm with you. I've been a member on several forums that allow larger avatars, and they really do start to make the page look cluttered and generally ugly. The same is true times a billion for images in signatures.

100X100 isn't large! It's pretty much standard for most sites.

Sorry, temps. I don't think we're changing av sizes here. Not sure what your point is, but the 80x80 limit here works for the overall design of the forums. We also do not allow images for sigs partly for those with dialup connections, partly to not screw up the aesthetics of the forums.

This is one of the few forums I go to that still don't allow 100 x 100 avatars, and sig banners.

With that said, I don't think these forums really need a change. I never saw a need for that kind of stuff here.

Fine, you penisis, but you had better hope I never win the lotto, because if I do, i'm going to buy this site and make HUGE avatars with HUGE sig pictures.

Hmmmm, it seems that somebody's overcompensating for a certain short coming...

I think we touched on this issue in the Ask Scott a Question thread.

The answer had better been that it's not the size that matters but how you use it because you are not the only one with a shorcoming...

LOL!!! You're all weird. But I think this thread's original question has been answered and we needn't allow it to grow .... .... anymore than it already has.
