Why Can't we delete posts anymore?

What posts are you trying to delete?
I think you can only delete your posts within a certain period of time after they're made. After that, only a mod can do it. I'm not exactly sure what that period of time is (but Doug could tell us). |

You used to be able to edit the post to delete it - that option isn't there anymore.
