Sticky threads?
I was thinking shouldn't we have a few sticky threads for the following topics in the Adventure forums? As these threads are overdone too much.
- Top 10 Adventure games - Recommendations - Game sites - Best and Worst Endings - Best and Worst Graphics - Best and Worst Movie to Game make - Best Graphics - Best Voice Acting - Favourite Game Genres - Favourite Sound Effect - First Console - First Video Game - Games that Sucked - Greatest Game Ever - Most Annoying Boss Ever - Most Frustrating Game - The All-inclusive 'What's your favorite <...>' thread. - What game are you playing now? (mini-reviews) - Worst System Ever I got the above from gamingforce.com/forums. Just a thought. |

If we made all those threads sticky there wouldn't be any room for new threads on the page.
You're right that some of those topics come up a lot, but if/when they do we try to merge them with recent ones on the same topic, or close the new thread and provide a link to the old one. |

Yeah...I thought there was too many, too.
Hmmm...maybe two or three sticky threads? Such as 'Recommendations', 'Fave/worst games' and 'Now playing'. Something like that. |

A little sticky'd directory listing of common discussions wouldn't hurt, I imagine

That's a good idea.
If someone else makes a list, I'll sticky it! |

Forgot about this thread
I'll make about 3 sticky threads? 'Recommendations/Rare games' 'Fave/worst games' 'Now playing' If you want, you can add stuff to those threads. |

We have so many threads on these topics already. I'd rather not start new ones.
I'm going to do what Jake suggested (link to various popular threads), when I find the time. |

Okay, I've put up a thread here.
If you find any threads that you think I'm seriously missing (as in existing threads - for instance we don't currently have a super popular "what are you playing right now" thread in the adventure forum, so I didn't see the need to make one just to link in that thread), list it in here so it can be added!

Very amusing. Stickier than flypaper. Both my thumbs up.

(I just added a couple more links I realized I missed, including the abandonware thread, and one other somewhere I've already forgotten about*)

Really cool list.
Erm, there was the point and click is dead thread, but I'm not sure whether it was closed or not.

It's interesting how the Jensenists vs Schaferists thread deals partly with gay issues.
Now I understand why people think I'm flaunting it...
