Default Quote borders go somewhere strange

Perhaps this problem is exclusively the fault of my version of IE, but when you quotea post, the other endof the quotebox (and some word along with it) disappear under the border.

Yep, the borders were continuing on for me too. I had no idea where they stopped, until I checked. They stop somewhere near Boston.

I've noticed this happening at the computers at my school. At home, it looks fine.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the screen resolution, or something like that. Maybe...

Oh, I thought it was supposed to do that. Cause it just stretches to the end of the screen, thus perfectly fitting in the post.

Is it only Opera that does that? If so, I'd be kind of worried about its compliance. "border: 0.01em solid black;" isn't very advanced CSS. Is there a setting for it that's disabled by default or something?

I don't think that's a bug at all. I think that's just the quote table extending by default to the width of the post table.

My opera 7.20 beta7 under linux behaves exactly as ysbrekers. My mozilla firebird under linux has a border.

The only flaw with the quote border I experienced is that the right border is sometimes missing... but hey, I can live with that...

ps. just IE6...

Some of the quote is missing for me. Not really a huge problem, but worth fixing if it's fixable.

I've tried 3 machines with IE, and it's fine in all of them.
