Default E3 info

Do we have an E3 crew in LA to report on game development? If so, who's there?

So I'd say yes, there's a crew.

Internet access has been sporatic (at best) at the expo and we have been so busy there has not been much time for updates - but don't worry, we have collected a ton of info for upcoming articles and conducted several really cool interviews (and that's only after one day!) Here are our impressions from Day 1.

Laura, Christina, Berian, and I are representing AG. Doug, Chris, Marek, and Jake are here too, along with a bunch of other guys from IdleThumbs, but they have been really busy with content for Thumbs. Check out the site to see what they've been up to.

Any chance that you might need an new member to your crew? I'd come over by Concorde...oh, wait. They are not used any longer.

Okay, okay. I'd invent beaming. It was on my to-do list anyway, but I was procrastinating. For YOU I'd finally screw in the last screw. So, any chance that you need me? *winkwinknudgenudge*

Oh, I thought you were there too

Anyway, I'm staging my own E3 event at my house. I'm pulling out my piles of old games, looking at them, taking a second look at them, and then putting them away. Some would call it a clean up... Some would call it the second coming.

Still, everyone knows there are no good new games nowadays. So it doesn't really matter .

Be sure to use a strobe light while doing that And I'm not there (E3) either.

The E3 articles are outstanding! I just finished both one and two, and enjoyed reading them throughly. I love the opening description of Day 1; it does a great job of setting the scene and giving the reader the sense of what things were like, and it is quite humorous! Day 2's introduction is also evocative of the atmosphere--great reads!

The game descriptions in both articles are first rate! We really get a sense of what's out there to look forward to, and I am enjoying the sense of anticipation; I just hope that Runaway 2 won't drive me crazy pixel hunting like the first one did!

Thanks Emily, Christina, Laura, Berian, and Doug!!!

More coming! Lots, LOTS more. And by "lots" I mean "one". And by "more", I mean completely different than the first two days.

But then all the awesome in-depth coverage on the games we're excited about, so E3 is the gift that keeps on giving.
