Default Forums behaving oddly?

I noticed a couple of threads where I'm marked as the last poster where I'm not. Also on this thread the page count shows as 2 on the index page and the first page of the thread but becomes 3 (which it has been for at least a day or so) if you go to the second page. That's based on 20 posts a page by the way.

Is it just me or is anyone else noticing odd glitches?

I checked it out. Looks normal to me.

In other news: This forum's thread number has officially risen to 101. Alright, party's over, get back to work 'forum feedback'.

Forum Feedback 101. Sounds like some sort of starter course.

Hit the refresh button in your browser when you're on the pages where you see the problems. Sounds like older (cached) pages may be displaying for you.

I've got the same issue as stepurhan - noticed it the other day. Just had another look and it's still the case (I emptied my cache yesteday too).

Example:
I last posted on this thread on Feb 6, but the Chit Chat Index shows me as last poster on Feb 12.

There are some others that show me as the last poster when I'm definitely not but I can't spot any right now.

Not a big issue though. Just a small tear in the fabric of spacetime I suspect.

That's because that thread is a poll. When someone votes on a poll but doesn't respond to the thread, the time they voted is tacked on but the name of the last poster doesn't change. So it's really displaying the time that the last person voted on the poll, it just happens to be under your name because you're the last one who responded.

Ah. Guess that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.

Do you have any humble pie I could borrow? I seem to have eaten all mine.

I'm having a problem browsing the forum with Safari where the loading of threads stalls in the very end... It says something like "Loaded 24/25 items" in the bottom bar of the browser and then just stays there. I have to hit stop and locate the first new post for me myself.

Odd enough, this doesn't always happen. I haven't been able to isolate any specific factors contributing to this problem.

That's really weird... I have been having the same problem in Safari, not on this forum (and I use Safari here all the time), but on eBay. It gets stuck on the second to last item and I'm not able to use the search feature because the page isn't fully loaded.

Next time this happens, let me know which thread it is, and I'll try it in Safari and see if the same thing happens to me.

It's a problem brought about by not using Firefox

It happened just now on the last page of the Psychonauts poll in the General Gaming forum ( http://forums.adventuregamers.com/sh...838#post116838 ).

I think it's just a random thing. It happens to me sometimes in other forums, but then it goes away.

If it matters, I use Avant Browser.

It actually just happened to me on the main forum page. It hung loading images. I don't know if it was a Safari issue or what.

Like you, I just refresh if I'm having problems, and the problem usually goes away. It's not like there's any consistent problem that can be duplicated.
