Default What happened on the 29th of April?

Just curious as to why the record for 'most people online at one time' was broken on this particular day. I'm just kind of assuming that this was caused by a specific event. I mean, I remember the forum being absolutely buzzing during the Sam and Max cancellation, but nothing seems to ring a bell about April 29th. Anyone have any ideas?

Hmm, I guess it's possible, though we're talking nearly two months after the game was cancelled, surely things would have died down a tiny bit by then. That said, the backlash did seem to go strong for a long time.

It's also possible that it was a flood of googlebots or something.

Is that the official collective noun, man?

Well, the singular is 'googlebot,' so it seems logical.

That was the day we gathered to sacrifice a virgin in order to appease the Adventure God.

Would have been a decent selection around these here parts, I'd wager.

it's very likely he did get bored, yes... in the old days he was one of the more active posters.

well he's not forgotten

Well, Moos was very active a year or so ago, but that hardly qualifies as "the old days". The old days were when AG were green and I wasn't a memeber of the forum either.

I wonder how many of the really older members are still active?

He was veeeery active at one point. Probably got burned out.

He is somewhat active at the Idle T forums though. So that's probably the easiest place to get a hold of him.

Oh, I remember the young Moos. Every time someone made a factual mistake, you knew there'd be a post by him pointing it out.

Hi, Moos!
