Can anyone get me the Top 20 Adventure Games lists that came before the latest one?

The one posted on the site is from the end of 2002. According to this list there was one back in 1999 also and it's probably that one SamNMax is talking about.
I'm quite sure that you won't be seeing that one on this site anytime soon though (read: never).

#13 GRIM FANDANGO - No game drew a more extreme reaction than this one. A whopping 80% voted the game higher. I expected a pretty extreme reaction, but this really shocked me. I think the voting was mostly a reflection of the fact that the game is so new and fresh in our minds. Perhaps that fact is what caused me to lower its ranking a bit. But I don't think you can say it's any greater than the LEC adventures ranked above it.
