A milestone

I have an exciting announcement. For the first time in our site's history, all three feature articles on our front page are written by someone named Robert.

This is a proud moment for all of us who have worked so hard to reach this landmark. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Ok, so in order to become a reviewer at AG, I have to change name to Robert?

RLacey 09-19-2004 11:20 PM

Even worse - all three articles are written by Roberts who live in the UK. So nyahhh to you Americans ;).

A red letter day for all Robert lovers everywhere

toger 09-20-2004 07:43 AM

But two of those Roberts are the same person, so maybe it's just an orange letter day? :D

Mattsius 09-20-2004 08:35 AM

*Wonders if Evan's real name is Robert.* :shifty:

As of course it should be, for Robert is the greatest of names... :D

I've secretly applied for the new Underground position under the name Bob Roberts. It's filled with typos and glaring errors (much like my own work, really). We'll soon see how pervasive this bias is.

Not anymore! *cackles* Ahem.

I mean, er, I bow to the milestone at hand.

The new management of AGs sure has some impressive standards.

Intrepid Homoludens 09-21-2004 11:23 AM

:pan: what in hell are you doing back here?!!!

log p 09-21-2004 11:26 AM

to my knowledge there has never been a King Robert, nor has there been a Robert worth getting to know...Roberts strike me as rather conceited and high falutin...well...that's a Robert I know...other Roberts might not be so bad...i prefer Bob or Bobby or even Rob or Robbie...Robert doesnt have the feel of real quality nomenclature

I just came back for a spell as I needed to ask ninth for a favour.

Marek 09-21-2004 02:25 PM

Oh man, I'm laughing my socks off.

Jake 09-21-2004 02:35 PM

I don't think that's an actual english expression Marek.
