Default Question- enhanced mode vs. guided mode

What do these mean as a choice to use? Enhanced vs. guided modes?

That's a good question. I never even noticed them before. (They are two radio buttons right above the box where you type in your reply. Guided Mode is on by default.)

Eagerly awaiting the answer...

i figured it out..

if you have on guided mode click on the picture symbol and you'll get a box that pops up asking to enter your location of the picture..

if you have on enhanced mode and click it will just put in the bracket [IMG] and you have to fill in the rest

You may find Enhanced Mode more convenient to work with. For example, you could highlight part of the your text, click the quote icon, and it'll automatically turn it into a quote. Works the same way with image urls, bold face, underlining, etc. With Guided Mode you'd have to type whatever inside the box that pops up.

Bah. Why didn't I know this before? I always found the guided mode interface (with the pop-up boxes for links, etc.) to be annoying, but I used the boxes instead of typing in tags because I can never keep track of which bulletin boards use which tags.

Hey! I never noticed those "Close Current Tag" and "Close All Tags" buttons on the right, either!

I must not be very observant...

I avoid cars as much as I can, yes.

It's much nicer to walk or use the bicycle or when going longer, the train or the aeroplane.

That depends on the car.

I must have switched to Enhanced mode by mistake and then back to Guided mode by mistake. Because I remember some months back being impressed those damn boxes had gone, and it did it all automatically. Then the boxes reappeared... Not I know why

I'm a Indian Jones guy. so when ever i go someplace i tie myself to the back of a car. i find that i get there a lot quicker then running or ridding a bike. I'm also doing my part for the environment
