Oh yeah, I realize the current list preceded Runaway. I was talking about the next one. I know Evan has said he perhaps overrated the game, but I didn't see an actual rescinding of the top 20 comment. Either way, I was just pulling his leg. Being on record can be a bugger sometimes.

Runaway wouldn't come within a whiff of my top 20, either.

Someone mentioned that there were no FMV games on the list - Pandora Directive. And yay for FOTT coming in at no.1. I can't see any other game ever taking it's mantle of the best AG of all time.

Oh, my mistake. I didn't know it was a FMV game. Anyway, FMV games are bullcrap.

I just can't a reason why DOTT should be considered to be better then Monkey Island 1 (I guess I know what reason will be given on this topic about MI2, though it's not a reason to me).
And talking about Legend and TOP 20 material, most of its games, espessially the first ones, have better mix of story and puzzles then can be met in many of other adventures in the TOP. Espessially TimeQuest, which have much better and uniquer puzzles based on time travel, then the ones in DOTT (and I should remind you that TQ came out 2 years earlier). And I'm even not talking about great educational elements on world history which are greatly implemented in the game plot.

Runaway is definitely in my top 20, although in the lower spots(15-20).

I love this man. I think Evan's taste in adventures probably reflects my own views the best out of all of the editors at AG. Good show there!

Wasn't TLJ released in 1998?

Of course it's a matter of taste, but I still find the exclusion of the Myst-series to be quite ignorant. Specifically, Riven is top five, with its awesome sense of adventure and realism, and its chilling and hard puzzles.

I never kid, I am dead serious. I do however jest from time to time - but now is not the time. Are you saying Riven has no awesome obstacle courses?

Er, Riven is an awesome obstacle course. That's in fact all it is.

Also, I agree 100% with what Kingz said about DOTT on the previous page. He's totally right. Hella right, even. If you will.
