I merged the two threads on this topic.
Evan was the one who planned this feature, by the way.

Don't blame Stinger. Notice the initials at the end of the article.

Yeah, Simon 3D does'n deserve to be here. But, nevertheless, the read was fun.

Seriously, though (and this is not an april fool's joke), I didn't want to give the joke away to those who came to this board using the forums url and not through the site. I liked the feature, a fun read. I thought the joke lied on the frontpage with the announcement of the revival of this old feature. When you started reading it was basically telling you it was an april fool's joke.
So, happy april fools day! If it's anything to celebrate.

I have a feeling that there will be the return of the TRUE Top 20 Games tomorrow. Or is it just wishful thinking?

Word has it that The Escape from Monkey Island 2 team has been moved over to Star Wars Tournament 2004, a unique and creative FPS which largely will be produced by Raven.
I personally love that quote from the summbar website...

What an interesting, and apparently irrelevant, question. Did I accidentally make reference to it or something?

Default Doh!

Oh man, when I first looked at this list, I said to myself "Huh? Am I reading this right?. After I read a few games on the list, I then realized that this was a very clever April Fool's Joke, and I fell for it.

So now, I'm bashing myself on the head with a pan.

Way to go guys, you really got me there.

Dear fucking god, you mentioned Nabokov's Humbert Humbert! And there I was, in a most vulnerable idealistic moment, thinking that maybe something within Evan Dickens was perhaps salvageable - ah, but in vain! In vain!

If you look at the end of the review, you'll notice the initials "D.R." Evan didn't write that one.

Hm. One would almost thing that Evan intended to mislead people and take credit for everyone else's work... but nah. He wouldn't do that. Or would he?
