Welcome to the forums edistr.

There isn't an introduction section as such. If you'd really like to create a thread to introduce yourself then Chit-Chat would be the place to do it. Otherwise you could put a brief introduction when posting on a thread that interests you. (though try to keep on-topic at the same time) I hope you enjoy yourself here.

A thread most controversial, that’s what I want to start
Full of impassioned arguments, of posting from the heart
And for this stimulation all will be thankful to me
On come on everybody it won’t work if you agree

Although most new people that post in Chit Chat seem to be spammers...

Welcome to the forums, edistr! Hope you enjoy it here. What types of adventures do you like?

I have to say I tend to avoid chit chat, I get lost a little amongst all of it and yes, seems to be spam ridden. So if it is okay I would love to hear from people in this section, even some of the regulars that I always see around but know little about. Unless it's not really good forum etiquette

No, introductions definitely belong in Chit Chat, not here. And Chit Chat isn't spam-ridden at all. There was one flurry of threads from a single person who won't be doing it again, no it's a non-issue.
