Recommendations & Game ID´s

Hi fellow Adventurers and AG Administrators ! :)

In the last couple of weeks it , at least to me, feels like the amount of
"Please Help Me ID Game X" & "I like Game Y recommend something similar"
threads has notably increased.

Although these threads have a right to exist and can be very helpful, I think that there should be a sub-forum seperated from the actual adventure forum dealing with recommendations and identifications.

For people seeking that kind of information, it probably would be very helpful to have a forum like that. Furthermore the actual adventure forum would become better laid out.

Just my two cents.

What do you think ?

Maybe if the forums were busier that might be worth doing. As it is, there isn't so much activity that those threads are worth separating. Besides, topics tend to come in waves. Now that you're mentioned it, we probably won't see another for months. :D

I think too many forums these days have too many sub-forums. This place already has more than enough.

How about opening this thread? It's a sticky and already lists some great threads about recommendations but most of those are too old. I assume some users will still create new threads but if at least the regular posters, lurkers and people that use the "search" function start focusing on a single thread for recommendation it can make the forums more organized and avoid bumping down a lot of threads to oblivion.
