Default "...not a member of any public groups"

This is one the statements you'll find in a profile when you look up a forum member.

What exactly does this mean? What is a public group?

vBulletin supports groups that you can join for some reason. I've talked to marek and doug about this... I think it would be kind of fun and hilarious to add a few groups. You know, the "I love The Dig" group, the "I hate The Dig" group, the "Puzzles are God" group, the "Stories are God" group, the "Why can't everyone just shut up for a second" group, etc etc.

Maybe if we can set up "trep only" groups...

How about a group that gives its member the option to only display the first sentence in all of Bastich's posts? You know, sortof like ignore, only a little more friendly. And useful. We'll call it the 'Bastich Pseudo-Ignore Group',

Yeah, and we could have the same thing for all of your posts that mention Tim Schafer or any of his games, Kingz...

Yes, however, I tend to be brief.

I'd want an autodelete for the string "awesome obstacle courses" and a way to prevent me from posting polls.

That would be a shame! It's a lot more fun to ignore the post when you have it under your eyes, and just scroll past it with disdain .

My ignore list is long enough as it is, and I'm getting bored of having to view their posts separately. I'm just waiting for the right moment to throw those smoke bombs...
