Default No email notification for subscribed threads

I seem to get no nitifications for subscribed threads anymore lately. I checked my settings, and they are still on 'Instant notification' for when something has been posted in a thread I subscribed to. What's wrong?

I'm not sure. I don't subscribe to any threads, but to test it, I subscribed to Thread Must Die (not a stellar choice but I knew it would be posted in). I picked instant notification. I just posted something as a test and haven't received an email yet. I'll see if I get one (and when others post).

If I don't, well I'm not sure what could be wrong.

It could be that the mails were sent but never arrived. I have received some AG emails since I posted my question, but for some threads I didn't get anything even when there were new posts.

Well, I didn't get a notification of my own post (which makes sense if you think about it - unless you post while sleeping or something...). I got one when Squinky posted.

It could be your spam filter is being weirdly picky?

I now get mail for some threads but not others. Let's blame my crappy internet connection and forget about it. If I'm the only one with this problem there is nothing you can do about it anyway.

It may be your email server too. Sometimes they can get weird and not deliver all the mail. Just a thought.
