The second pic shows a Sam & Max PC (it was a special type that I can't remember now) that JoWood was giving away as a prize.

Speaking of booth babes, ever seen one for an adventure game? Now you have! Funcom, if you're reading this: Zoë Castillo and April Ryan booth babes... make it happen.
Serious Feminist-Leaning Squinky: Ugh. How about... no.

Slightly Silly Squinky: You know who I'd like to see as a booth babe? Ragnar Tørnquist himself! *bow-chicka-bow-wow*

I was thinking the same thing about booth babes myself (the serious comment).

Edit: I moved this to Feedback (for now ).

I too want one of those stuffed animal Maxs.

Oh, and those photos could use some captions. I recognised Steve Ince, but I'm clueless about the identities of those other folks, I need to know who I'm judging!

There are captions under the thumbnails in the main article (they don't show up on the full size photo, though).

Ah, thanks, I hadn't read the article, I was just on the gallery page.

That's not a Max plush, it's part of a costume JoWood commissioned. Max is a hand puppet built into the Sam costume. Telltale had the same costume at the San Diego Comic-Con last month, before sending it to JoWood. There's a video here that you might enjoy...

Marek, thanks for the pics. Makes me feel like I was there... but without all the stress.

Wonderful video! I love the bit where Sam messes around at the Lucasarts booth, shaking his head while holding up a Star Wars game lol.

Who was the person wearing the Sam costume? He/she must have swetted like a, uh, dog while wearing that costume.

I think that all my future games will have young female protagonists if this is the result.

Mind you, I'm still waiting for DTP to send me copies of the photos taken of me standing next to "Sunny".

Glad you guys liked the article. Don't take my comments about booth babes too seriously.

Steve, they had one of those pictures at the press center. It's here somewhere.

Thanks. For some reason I have a weird expression on my face. (Though many would say that's normal for me. )

I completely missed her. But meeting Steve compensated that.

btw: Great photos, Marek! We'll have a gallery, too, but it takes some more time.
