Al Emmo - bit torrent download
Uh, Jackal - can I assume that this is NOT what we're supposed to see when we click on the bit torrent link? I've never tried a bit torrent d'load before, but this isn't in my language, anyway.

(That's a raw torrent file, by the way. It describes to the client where to look for peers) |

A .torrent file will open as plain text unless you tell your browser to do something else. Any decent BitTorrent client will associate itself with .torrent files for you, or you could tell your browser to save as with .torrent files, then manually open them with your bt client. Either way, no, you don't want to be reading bytecode

Okay, I shrunk it - I just wanted someone to see it before I did that. The way Jackal's preview reads - it made it sound like when you clicked on that link, you would get the instructions on how to do it. Thanks for your help!

Well, it would, if there weren't an entire separate link just for those.

Well, I did it - it took just 30 min. See, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
And I'll leave it hooked up till about midnight (10:20pm here now). Thanks again! M

30 minutes - not bad for such a big download!
Glad you got it to work. Enjoy the demo! (And thanks for leaving it hooked up so other people can benefit.) |
