Jeff Smith Interview

Great review, though I wondered about this

What's been the general response from longtime followers of your comics? Any complaints from the diehards?

Not one. I've heard more complaints from gamers than anything, but they were usually comparing the Bone game with multi-million dollar games from big companies, that were in development for years. Games they pay $40 or $50.
I kinda find that hard to beleive, so not one persion said anything about the voices? especialy since they ended up recasting Throne

And whos that in the photo? Jeff or Jack? :P

I actually couldn't tell much difference between the new Thorn and the old one. The way she says "Fone Bone" sounds identical.

Dale Baldwin 04-14-2006 06:04 PM

Yes, it does.

Well, that's a pretty specific criticism that would be directed more at Telltale than Jeff. The question was more about whether he'd received complaints from people who feel the integrity of the comic was compromised, or the move to 3D and live animation wrecked it or something. Or at least, that's how I meant the question. :D But I think that's what he was answering, too.

Heh. That would be Jeff. I wouldn't plaster my face all over someone else's interview. :P
