Default TLJ Card

I love the card!

I was wondering though... is it possible for a larger version to be posted? It would make a great background.

Actually, I'm finding it a little hard to fathom that it indeed is a real-time pic. I mean...Wow!

I'm really looking forward to more info on the game.

The big version is there now. If you look at it you'll easily see the underlying 3D model.

Oddly enough, that Elgwan looks shockingly like a reindeer, all it needs is a sleigh and a portly man sitting on top!

Any thoughts?

I'm thinking maybe that big tower thing...

Marek found this... http://www.tljns.tk/

It's a pretty good analysis of the difference between the TLJ and TLJ-Next screens.

Most of the snow is probably post-edited. And the kids in the background.

The snow is post-edited, but supposedly WILL appear in the final game looking like that. I'd guess the textures and whatnot for the snow weren't finished, which is why they're mocked up for this image.

I'm so excited to see something from TLJ2(before it get a real name I'll call it that). The picture sure looks great, and the tower in the end is very interesting. Too bad we have to wait so long before we see anything else.
But at least they are giving us a sign of life.

Right. The snow, pools of water, the background, the birds and the carriage of some sort that is parked between the two houses are post-edited. The architecture, the street itself and the Elgwan are 3D.

Ragnar teased me about how great the snowflake effects look in the game, so I think they've already gotten around to implementing those details. Ragnar also made a post about a long while ago about seeing the Elgwan fully animated. We're probably looking at a concept image from the very early phases of the project, though I can't speak with complete certainty.

Hmm..yeah.
The snow and the kids are probably post-edited, but that is not what impressed me so.

What impressed me was that I had a hint of realization as to what Ragnar meant by "a living and breathing world". I think I have an idea about how the game will play and that I am going to love it. About how the game will us to explore this very street (among other places ,of course) in glorious three-dee. And with visuals apparently as pretty as this,I think the exploring part in itself will be a nice experience. I realize, though, that it is too early to make such claims.

On another note...

Doesn't the Elgwan with its saddle and all seem a bit too convenient...if you know what I mean. Somehow, I am reminded of the Twon-ha when I see that pic. Hmm... I wonder...

Pure speculation ...? Yeah right .

Maybe that tower is just the tower of the church you enter this world for the first time...

I was thinking about the children... maybe they 'leaked' from Stark?

You know what... we'll just wait... although I hate waiting... But my guess is that this game is very worth the wait... but that is just based on some loose facts...
