Pathologic - sounds freaking brilliant!
I don't think this was exactly what you were going for, Jack, but you just made Pathologic the game I'm awaiting most eagerly.
When the negative is that it's like reading Faulkner, well, I'm sold. Finally, an adventure (or something) game that is just plain weird!

Well, I certainly hope people pay attention to it, anyway. For all the squawking on these forums about the lack of innovation, we can't let the ones that show some slip through the cracks.
It'd be plenty weird even if they manage to get the localization squared away. But I reallyreallyREALLY hope they don't leave the translations as is. Maybe Faulkner was understating. There's definitely a neat game buried in here somewhere. But finding it all hinges on the final execution. Won't take long to find out, though. The game is due to release later this week. |

For anyone living in the UK. Preorder it and get either Nightwatch or Xfiles-Season 3 on DVD FREE.

Yea I'm now eagerly awaiting this thanks to AG.
I saw that it's being released March 24. Yet Gamespot has it as TBA. Is that the UK/Europe you're referring to? And if so, heard anything about an American release date. Or what's an easy way to import games....eBay? |

Yeh I thought saying the dialogue is like Faulkner is a huge plus. The game looks strange in a good way.

Poor T.S. Eliot. No love for him.
I sincerely hope people know the Faulker reference was said VERY tongue in cheek. Spoiler: I almost made a crack about Dostoyevsky's inarticulate brother, but figured that might be pressing my luck. |
