Default Spoilers in thread previews

When you hover over a thread title you get a preview of the first part of the original post. Unfortunately, it this part includes any spoilered text that appears in clear. I'm guessing this is due to the way vbulletin works (previews text only ingnoring all tags?) and so there's no way of fixing it. Is that the case?

Just use Firefox. There's a faulty implementation in it which makes it display only a dozen words or so in those tooltips --- usually not enough to get spoiled.

Oh, wait, you meant a real fix?

It does that because it sets an HTML title attribute for the link, which is a text-only thing. If it's a problem, the best suggestion I can offer is to not read them.

Fair enough. Usually the subject is enough to warn of possible spoilers so I don't see it as a huge problem anyway. Just have to be careful what I preview.
