Oh, okay. I see what you're getting at.

Yeah, sometimes the spiders try to send or read private messages. The stop sign means they're getting a message that says they don't have permission to do that.

Bots don't put anything on the forums (I believe I'm right in that). When you search on Google and you get a forum page as a result, I think that registers as a bot on the 'who's online' page. No porn involved.

No. The bots you're seeing index the site for companies like google, yahoo, etc. They don't post messages, they don't read private messages, and they don't basically do anything.
