I keep getting logged off
Any ideas why this is happening? Everything seems as normal, but every time I return here I'm logged out.

It's a hint. Too subtle?
Where you log in, there should be a check box right beside it says "Remember Me". Some board change much have unchecked that. |

Yeah, I was logged off also when I came here today. (I usually am always logged on)
Good thing that Doug is keeping up with the vBulletin updates.

You destroyed my record! I was trying to stay logged on for ever!
...okay, actually it was just convenient... ...good thing I could still remember my password... ..Didn't we used to get warned when updates were coming? "I think we'll go finish the speech about Schiller quickly, and then I will bring mommy to bed...She's been like this all the time, since she learned she couldn't go see the Premiere of "Narnia" today, which was also with an event at the cinema..." *sniff* Narnia? ...are...are we going there? *looks at watch* We're late! *sniff* ...Narnia... *weeps* "Come, Mommy. Finish your work and then go to bed. You can read one of the Narnia books before going to bed, if that helps." ...yes, that would help...b-but my sister has the books at her home...I can't read them again before Christmas... *Weeps the Niagara Falls tenfold* "Oh dear, this is going to take longer than I thought..." -

Aaah. Good to see I'm not the only one, otherwise I would have felt awkwardly lonely in my misery.

My sympathies, dear. But next time at least write your password down since you have a hard time remembering it.

I don't generally provide advance notification for minor point upgrades, since they don't create any downtime. Trep, if you clear your cookies all should be well again.
EDIT: If you don't want to clear all your cookies, open your cookies folder and just delete the ones called adventuregamers and forums.adventuregamers. Last edited by fov; 12-10-2005 at 09:53 AM. |
