I'm not too excited by the games on the list so far, but still, it seems fair.
My only beef would be Aura 2 not being in it (very original, uh?).

That's funny - I've always thought of it as the hypo (rhymes with typo) way, but hy-pom-eter (rhymes with thermometer) does sound much more scientific.

EDIT: And to answer your question, yes, it is a valid pronunciation. Lots of "ometer" words are pronounced that way - speedometer, pulsometer, etc.

Hyp-ometer like thermometer is funny. Weird pronunciations of Kilometer come to mind.

But "kilometer" is pronounced kilometer.

Great post, good to read up to date info on such games.

I agree with the high placing of Broken Sword 4 - the second it was announced the hype was incredible, yes i know there is hardly any info on the game - but it is a HYPE-o-meter, not a KNOWLEDGE-o-meter... ok i'll shut up now.

One more thing, no slight mention for BASS2? Its not cancelled, just delayed apparently.

Heh. Well, for all intents and purposes, BASS2 is a non-project for the foreseeable future. I'm already cheating by listing honourable mentions, so I can't keep naming everything.

Aw, crap, I hope Phoenix Wright is delayed, or I'm going to have to update again.

On a not-so-related issue, Keepsake will be released in France by (I think)MicroApplication.
Or so I read.

I'm happy.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, that's one of the very rare games in the new hype-o-meter that I'm truly (slighly) hyped about.
