Forum upgrades
Sorry 'bout the downtime. So this is not the fabled 3.5.0 upgrade, because I'm still waiting on the final release. This upgrade brings us up to the most current 3.0.x release, though, which means almost nothing to most of you, since it's basically security fixes and minor tweaks.
Someday, though, comes the 3.5.0 awesomeness |

What about Vs , some new pictures and a couple of new smiles? Was they a result of this upgrade too? Lokks nice though.

Only thing that looks different to me is a little grayed out folder next to Adventure Forums > Feedback > Forum Feedback (or whatever the path is on the screen I'm on) that wasn't like that before. I don't see any new smilies.
As for this awesomeness that is 3.5.0... if it makes things really different, I don't know if I'll be able to handle it. (I also see links that say Increase Size and Decrease Size under the reply box, but clicking them doesn't do anything...) |

They work for me. BTW, I don't remember the reply buttons being grey before. |

No joke, the smilies look exactly the same to me as always. I'm using Firefox.

EDIT: ACK! Okay, looks completely different in IE. Including a pretty weird-looking . EDIT2: Ugh - cleared my cache in Firefox and now I see new smilies and reply buttons and such here, too. Last edited by fov; 09-11-2005 at 05:32 PM. |

I don't like these new smileys...
They look saccharine, obsequious.......American Suburban. *brrrrrr* Ah well, I have my own cache of smilies I can use instead. Carry on.

The Big Grin smiley used to be a kind of "he he", now it's "Duh!".

I liked the old big grin smiley because it was cheeky. This new one is annoying - like some of those high pitched nasal voiced blonde Midwestern girls at the mall.

Well, aren't these smilies the default smilies of vBulletin?

Doesn't matter if they're the default smilies. We should be able to get the old ones back. (Please?! )
I agree, the old had a nice mischevious quality. This one just looks retarded. |
