Good catch, AT. Even the characters are only a pseudo-3D, according to the game's developer. So 0 out of 2. We were close.

Yup. The game is actually true 2D. Both the backgrounds and characters are 2d, but with the appearance of 3D (pre-rendered). Meaning, none of it is real time rendered, which would qualify it as 3D.

As for the length, I think he meant it's medium length for an underground game. At least, that's how I read it.

Wow, I thought characters were in real 3D This is a nice touch I must say..
But as for the length - if you, for example, go to the "Game" section of the AGS site, and watch for the "Medium length" adventures, there are such games like 5 Days a Stranger, Apprentice, Ben Joradan (part 3 especcially), Cirque De Zale and so on - they all need at least several hours to complete.. |
