ignoring genocide *heavy topic*
I am not starting this thread with the intention of guilt-tripping people. I am starting it to share with this community how privately outraged and uncomfortable I feel with the lack of attention the genocide in Darfur is getting.
*note: graphic imagery* http://www.ushmm.org/conscience/alert/darfur/steidle/ I do not understand why people are not making a bigger deal of this conflict. However, I believe that, regardless, spreading issues like this by word of mouth, or, word of internet forum, is a good thing, and possibly, can help somehow.

Yep, I know a little about this one. I'm in too much of a good mood atm so I'd better steel myself to read about it later this evening or so. I'm still upset about the starving North Korean families (for I had started a thread recently).
Thanks for the heads up.

I'm currently upset about slavery and corruption in Brazil.
