Hahah oh trep, you crack me up. I wouldn't ever steal a car. You should know me better by now! It's just a vacation. Though, it is near a famous prison.

You can take train rides by it.

Ooh. Maybe you can go there for a tour. And make sure you wink at the inmates and blow them kisses. A pretty boy like you would have them truly wanking wanting.

My sister Baby is a nurse practitioner, and a couple years ago she was working at a prison somewhere in Illinois (forget which one). She told me that she was specifically instructed to look as ugly as possible - no makeup, no flattering clothing, nothing that would communicate 'woman' to the inmates. Well, that was rather impossible in her case, considering she's very pretty. Needless to say it was an interesting experience for her.

Your sisters name is Baby?

HAHAHAHAH!

That reminds me of a story. There always this big bus that comes through my town with a federal embalm on the side. It's the bus that transports prisoners. Well one day, when my girlfriend came to see me, we were leaving mc donalds and the bus was across the street. Anyway, I convinced her to flash them and when she did, I swear, every guy on that bus was pressed up against the window going NUTS! It was wicked funny.

That's her nickname, actually. Her real name is Yeillie. Yeah, I know. My parents were weird that way, naming most of us funny. See, a lot of us got double vowel, double consonants. So whereas I'm Beiddie, my sister is Yeillie, my brother is Ueillie (pronounced 'Willy'), and so on.

But Baby is what we all call her. I adore her, she really is a true 'Babe'.

Damn, you two were so cruel.

Are these Asian names? And how's Beiddie pronounced? In the US and elsewhere?

Baydie? Biddi? Baydie (as in die)?

We're Filipino, but no, our names aren't Asian in origin, they were just made up. I have this image of Nanay (mom) and Dad, and whenever Nanay was pregnant she would have trouble trying give birth, so she and Dad had this strategy of inventing the most hilarious names ever for the baby:

Daddy: "Okay, how about.....Horsebutt?"

Nanay: "HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! That's good, but it's not working."

Daddy: "Hmmm....let's try....Crudface?"

Nanay: "Hoooo Hoohoohoo!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!! That's great, but still not working..."

Daddy: "This is hard.....ummm....Beiddie?"

Nanay: ".........unh, OH!! OMIGOD!!! IT'S WORKING! OWWW!! O GOD!!"

Daddy: "Nurse! NURSE!!!! SHE'S GOING INTO LABOUR!! FINALLY! NURSSSSSEEE!!!"

Hehe. Or perhaps it went like this:

Nurse: Sorry, I'm late but B.D. medical supplies ran out of.. er.. supply. We're getting into big trouble over at labour room II. Damn B.D. What did you say...?

Momsie (wide eyed): OMG! That's it! Thats' it!

Trepsie, just be thankful your dad wasn't a Star Trek fan like mine was. I suppose it could be worse...my name could be "Spock".

I never really had issues with my name. The older I got, the more I valued it because of its uniqueness. My full name is Beiddie Balbolino RafĂłl (middle name is Nanay's maiden name; I added the accent to the surname, it's Spanish and now more so). I like how that looks and sounds.

*snicker*
We must have sent them packing, because I've never met a Hatfield. The closest I've come was meeting one was a woman whose ex-husband's name was Hatfield.
