London Calling is my all-time favourite, and I'm sure it'll never be topped. 19 of the best punk, rock and roll, and ska songs ever recorded.
Oh ma corazon!

I only like the Used's first album as well.
Finch I love as well, but only their first album.
My Chemical Romance I haven't listened to much yet, but it has been on my list of things to do.
Never heard of blood brothers
Alkaline Trio, I've heard of them, but none of their songs.

It's from Crimson, their current album. Read my German review here. It's really good, although my fav is

From here to infirmary.

They're really catchy, but still maintain a dark undertone. Great.

C'mon, people keep it OT.

AND ONLY POST ONE SINGLE ALBUM. The idea is - wait for it - you have to THINK about it until you can narrow it down to the one album that truly narrows it down to who you are, one you can return to.

It's actually not that difficult if you clear your head, and think about that CD that just gets played over and over. We've all got one... and if you don't think you have, then think again.

It might soothe the beast, feed the soul, etc... but defines my inner self?

The problem is - I can't to that. Every favourite album stands for a different period of my life. The times they are a-changin', you know.

Maybe, but some things stay the same. I can put on Graceland anywhere in the world and gain comfort from it, but my own tastes have veered away from various styles at different points, and now I'm older I've settled on SOUNDS I like, not types of music... and one thing that followed me about was this album.

CR, CR has been my absolutely favorite album for many years now, and I'm not sure if that's ever going to change. In the meantime I've had many flings with some great records, but nothing even came close to challenging its position. If I ever find something better, I'll marry it

That said, I don't care much for albums anymore, I mostly listen to single songs.

Why does everyone like radiohead so much? They're damn boring.
